The Drill Team Booster Club met on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 6:15 a.m. in the Community Center. Present were Kellee Curran, MaryAnne Decker, Alyse Hunter, Bobbie Jo Vastine, and Ashlynn Rosa.

Treasurer Report: 06/19/08 Balance: $13439.28; Credits: $2558.40; Debits: $4920.76. Current Balance: $11076.92.

Bills owed: to McKinley for duffles and coats, waiting for correct balance due; to Billie Miller for try out tapes, waiting for balance owed.

Deposits to be made: Girl's orders -- for August: $305.32; for September: $771.59. If anyone has an outstanding balance, and post-dated checks have not been given to Alyse, or arrangements made, please contact Alyse as soon as possible.

Discussed costume ordering. Decision made to order two additional sequin tops.

All Iowa Auditions and Solo Competition were discussed. Bobbie Jo and Ashlynn will discuss these two events and give the girls updated information in the near future.

Group pictures will be on Monday, August 11, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Jeri Reeves.

Mandatory state practice will be on Saturday, August 16, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Alyse will donate bread and lunch meat; the booster club has bottled water. As mentioned in last month's minutes, parent volunteers are needed to help with this -- to both donate food and help set up and clean up. Contact MaryAnne (phone 774-4025 or email) with how you are able to help or what you are able to donate. We will meet at the High School Cafeteria at 11:00; the girls will break for lunch at 11:30.

Discussed possible future fundraisers. If anyone has any ideas for fundraising, please pass those ideas on to Bobbie Jo or Alyse.
