The Drill Team Booster Club met on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at 6:15 a.m. at the Community Center. Present were MaryAnne Decker, Alyse Hunter, Michelle McKernan, and Ashlynn Rosa.
Treasurer Report: Audit was completed; everything was in order. Debits: $460.43; Credits: $692.85. Balance: $13339.28.
Upcoming events:
-- Independence Day Celebration. Brenda Moore and Janine Sotter are the parent volunteers for this event. Additional information regarding performance times and uniforms will be given to the girls at practices.
-- MA Camp. Brenda Moore is still in the process of coordinating drivers. Additional information regarding uniforms and what to bring to camp will be given to the girls at one of the practices before camp.
-- Relay For Life. The girls will be performing on Friday, August 1. Bobbie Jo will contact Deb Storm to finalize plans and get a performance time. More information will be given to the girls at a later date.
Discussed looking into buying signs for use in parades -- for the sides of a truck and also to be carried. Ashlyn is looking into this and obtaining prices.
Information regarding uniforms, ordering of jackets, bags, etc. will be passed out at the practice on Wednesday, June 18. Binders will also be handed out at this practice. We need a couple of parent volunteers to help put the binders together on this date at the beginning of practice, which begins at 4:30.
Discussed Booster Club providing and preparing lunch for the girls during the August 2 and August 16 State Routine practices. It was decided that the Booster Club would do this, and we will need a couple of parent volunteers to help with this.
Reminder that inventory is on Sunday, June 22, at 12:00. Please note the date change. A reminder email will be sent next week to those girls scheduled to work this inventory.
